Click here to view the Probate Court documents generated after the death of Antonio Agazio. These documents contain some
very interesting information. The first one you will see lists realestate and personal property owned at the time
of his death. It also lists all the family members that are heirs to his estate. The document shows the legal
description of the farm and estimates its worth at about $10,000 in 1949. Below that, the document lists his personal
property as one 1937 Chev. Automobile Cab and Beet body; and one 1937 Dodge Com'l Express Automobile. Additionally, the
document lists Antonio as owning one share of the Denargo Market Stock, and Beet bonus. The value of this personal property
was estimated at $1000. The Denargo Market was the main hub for the wholesale produce market in Denver.
This is probably where Antonio sold some of the products he produced on his farm.
The rest of the document indicates that Marietta Rota named her oldest son, Domenic, as the executor of the estate and
he appeared to have complete control over the disposition of the property. There is also a document indicating
that an attorney was appointed to represent Lucia, the youngest child, on all matters as a minor heir to the estate.
These documents also creates another minor mystery. One bit of information in it says that Antonio was
born on Janurary 27. His death certificate also says the same date. His WW1 draft registration
says Janurary 7 - and this is a document he filled out himself. Janurary 7 is also listed as his birthday
in both the Declaration of Intention and the Petition for Naturalization - and he also filled out both of these documents. I wonder why his family came up with a different day of birth
after his death? Click the below link and you can read it for yourself - It's a very large file, so it may take
a little time to load:
